FILL STYLE

Fill style is used for creation style of inundation as background menu so keys. The Fill style dialog box is caused during the selection of the necessary component in Menu tree window and pressure on the key in the Properties inspector window opposite to the Fill style options (see Item Properties inspector). The Fill style dialog box has the following kind:

As can you see from to the picture a Fill style manager contains the powerful resource kit for creation, editing and applying of key styles. There are four types of inundation: Solid, Linear Gradient, Radial Gradient, Bitmap.

Solid fill style

For creation a new style you must do the following:

  • to press the key in the Properties inspector window opposite the FillStyleDown\FillStyleOver\FillStyleUp Item component property or FillStyle Root component property;
  • a next dialog box will appear;

 

  • from hidden menu select the inundation type, in our case we select Solid;
  • select the inundation color by pressure on the key ;
  • by alpha channel trackbar set the transparency size (you can see how filling will look in the preview window);
  • if you need to add a new style, press on the key and do similar actions with a new style;
  • if you need to delete a style, press the key ;
  • if needed, add style to the library to simple pressures on the key ;
  • store the styles library by pressure on the key by default, or you can select a file place and name on a disk by pressure the key ;
  • if needed, open saved style by pressure on the key ;
  • carry to Fill style manander by pressure on the key ;
  • if all changes which was needed are already done, press the Apply key at first and then OK, as a result user will get the inundation of the chosen component. Before pressure of the OK key Fill style window must have a similar kind:

 

Linear gradient style

For creation a new style you must do the following:

  • to press the key in the Properties inspector window opposite the FillStyleDown\FillStyleOver\FillStyleUp Item component property or FillStyle Root component property;
  • a next dialog box will appear;

 

  • from hidden menu select the inundation type, in our case we select Linear Gradient;
  • create a new style, by pressure on the key , by default a gradient will be from a blue to white one.
  • coloured stretching size changing is possible to do by the simple moving of the trackbars and on a panel to meet each other. Distance, which color transition is carried out on, will diminish.
  • for the best key type we will add a few transitions to this gradient. It is enough for this purpose to click by the mouse pointer on the coloured stretching line. Another pointer will appear in the place of clicking (see picture)

In order to delete a transition pointer, it is enough to move the mouse pointer to a needed component, to click the left mouse button and to move it downward to the alpha-channel. A transition pointer will move away.

  • we will change the created transition color. For this purpose click on this component and then on the color choice key. For example we will select greeen light.
  • by alpha channel trackbar set the transparency size of the created transition (the program enables to set transparency for every concrete transition be selecting the transition key at first, for example, , and then by alpha-channel trackbar selecting transparency), for example, 150 (you can see how filling will look in the preview window);
  • we will change the type corner of inundation by pressure on the key . The Rotation dialog box will appear

you can set a turn corner as well as by entering from a keyboard, so by the rotation of corner pointer on a circle. The corner values can be positive and negative. We set the value -23.

  • if you need to delete style, press the key ;
  • if needed, add style to the library to simple pressures on the key ;
  • store the styles library by pressure on the key by default, or you can select a file place and name on a disk by pressure the key ;
  • if needed, open a saved style by pressure on the key ;
  • carry to Fill style manander by pressure on the key ;

Radial gradient style

For creation a new style you must do the following:

  • to press the key in the Properties inspector window opposite the FillStyleDown\FillStyleOver\FillStyleUp Item component property or FillStyle Root component property;
  • a next dialog box will appear;

 

  • from hidden menu select inundation type, in our case we select Radial Gradient;
  • create a new style, by pressure on the key , by default gradient will be from a blue to white one.
  • size changing of the coloured stretching is possible by the simple moving on the trackbars and on the panel to meet each other. Distance, which color transition is carried out on, will diminish.
  • for the best key type we will add a few transitions to this gradient. It is enough for this purpose to click by the mouse pointer on the coloured stretching line. Another pointer will appear in the place of clicking (see picture).

  • we will change the inundation corner type by pressure on the key . The Rotation dialog box will appear

Bitmap style

This style is created in order to use pictures in place of ordinary background. Supports file extensions of next types JPEG, GIF, BMP. However now the GIF transparency is not supported, it will be realized in next versions of the program. For creation a new style you must do the following:

  • to press the key in the Properties inspector window opposite the FillStyleDown\FillStyleOver\FillStyleUp Item component property or FillStyle Root component property;
  • a next dialog box will appear;

 

  • from hidden menu select the inundation type, in our case we select Bitmap;
  • creation of a new style is conducted by pressure on the key , as a result the Open dialog box appears, in which you select the necessary file.
  • by alpha channel trackbar set the transparency size for the chosen style, for example, 150 (you can see how filling will look in the preview window);
  • we will change the inundation corner type by pressure on the key . The Rotation dialog box will appear
